Inside Track to Victory

I was very fortunate that Danica Patrick’s pole run as well as the tragic accident attracted me to watching this year’s Daytona 500. If you were lucky enough to watch the final 25 laps with me, we were all reminded by Jimmie Johnson’s daring to open up, and lead a freight train of cars on the inside line of the track, that in racing as in business that you can not play it safe as Danica did. Instead, if you are going win and lead the pack, you must take the chance that Jimmie did, and believe that your skill and experience will guide you and your team to success; no place was this more evident that at Daytona where seconds made the difference. Congratulations to Jimmie Johnson on a wonderful and memorable ride!
